Katie Brooks joined Leisure Hotels & Resorts in March of 2004 as the
Executive Assistant to the CEO/President and the Director of Sales and Marketing. Having a vast knowledge about the company and growing up with in the hotel industry Mrs. Brooks was then promoted to Project
Development Coordinator with a primary focus in developmental sales
and project management.
With a background in both sales and development she was then
promoted to the Director of Sales & Marketing where she has been
instrumental in developing marketing concepts and advertising
promotions company wide.
Katie creates market awareness through a process of press releases and public relations to showcase not only Leisure’s changes and
accomplishments but also each individual properties vast successes.
She oversees special marketing projects, billboard buys and negotiations, placement of print advertising, implementation of promotional campaigns, and the printing and designing of collateral materials.
Mrs. Brooks has had previous experience working at 4-star resorts in the Minnesota Lakes region and held positions in both Public Relations and Event Planning. She is continually learning and developing skills in real estate
development, business development, client retention, and sales and marketing.
Katie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas.
