Richard E. Smith

Richard E. Smith is co-founder and co-owner of Leisure Hotel Group. He was one of the first franchisees in the 1960's to develop the Holiday Inn Worldwide Holidome Concept. Mr. Smith has been in the hospitality business for over thirty years.

After graduating from Wichita State University with a degree in business, he founded International Homes Inc., a direct sales company with national distribution of fine china, silverware and cookware. Mr. Smith is an active operator in the oil and gas industry in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Mr. Smith has extensive real estate investments in numerous states. He is involved in numerous development projects that include residential housing, commercial property and automotive dealerships.

First and foremost, Mr. Smith is an entrepreneur. He is an officer and director of several corporations and is an active partner in a number of partnerships with investment throughout the country.
