Leisure Hotels is seeking an additional Sales Director for its newly renovated Olathe Holiday Inn location which features 154 Rooms in Olathe, Kansas. This newly renovated property features a full-service restaurant and bar and has easy access from the major highways making it ideal for Corporate, state association meetings and/or retreats.
The right person should be able to create demand through packaging, bus tours, and direct sales calls in the greater Kansas City area to corporations and meeting planners. This is not an operational position. This is a pure sales position.
- The ideal candidate will have 3 years previous sales experience in a full service hotel.
- Knowledge of the greater Kansas City area meeting planners market
- Prior travel agency, hotel or meeting planning experience a plus
- Ability to bring immediate relations with group business planners or meeting planners contacts
- An aggressive and professional individual with stellar hands on sales skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.
