The Leisure Group operates with a centralized accounting office to maximize efficiency and reduce operating costs for each property. The Finance Department is responsible for generating the monthly financial statements, bi-monthly payroll, and internal audit control. Each property maintains its own general ledger and set of bank accounts. The payables are authorized at the property and forwarded to the home office for payment, allowing the advantages of a decentralized system for approvals, but maintaining centralized internal control.
Our Human Resource team supports our efforts in recruiting, retaining and developing our most important asset, our associates. Our HR team also is responsible for general employment support, administering benefits, and providing best practice procedures in risk management. Human Resources also is provides the administration and generation of personnel policies and procedures; production of associate hand book and related information, facilitate unemployment hearings and regulatory compliance.
Leisure Purchasing has years of experience and know-how to insure we are providing our clients the best quality product from major manufacturers, all at savings only achieved through volume purchasing power. We have made supply purchasing even easier by providing our clients to our proprietary online requisition system, allowing hotels to buy the items they use from over 15,000 items. Our centralized purchasing process relieves the hotel of the time consuming tasks of shopping for the best price. On average, we save properties 10-15% annually on supply items.
Our Project Management team can provide support in all aspects of project development including site selection, construction management services, and renovations of any size. Our years of experience allow us to maximize the owner’s investment in the asset while providing solutions to minimize long term operating costs.
Leisure Hotels has extensive experience in the area of hotel receivership for distressed hotel, resort, and condo assists. This is an area where Leisure got our start in the late 1980's managing distressed hotel assets for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) to help stabilize troubled assets and operate them in an efficient cost effective manner.
