WIth Mr. Tatge’s leadership, his team, has improved financial performance, stabilized banking relationships and enhanced the guest experience. In addition, Jamie is providing visionary leadership that is helping Cove Point Lodge evolve as market conditions change. “Leisure Hotels managed Camden on the Lake for Valley View Bank from October 2009 until the property was sold in December 2015. The initial task was as the receiver from October 2009 through January 2010 when the bank foreclosed on the property. From 2010 through December 2015, the operation improved each year when the owner was able to achieve a satisfactory return. The operation improved from a loss of seven figures to an net cash flow of seven figures. As the loan officer in charge of this asset the Leisure management team provided insight and guidance along with specific joint operational and financial goals where the performance improved substantially as did the guest scores. Improvements include growth of group and transient guests, entertainment, food and beverage along with gas sales and dock rentals. The company managed all aspects of the resort operation and did an outstanding job turning around what could only be called an operational disaster into a strong success story.”
