Why tälts in the trees?
The Swedish people have a collective and deep love for nature and open-air life, and North Shore Camping Company has embraced that love, along with another swedish concept – lagom. Balance. Camping and comfort. Nature and convenience. Open space and coziness. Not too much…but just right.
North Shore Camping Co’s tälts didn’t grow from the earth, but it feels like they might have. Settling into your site in Beaver Bay, Minnesota and becoming a part of the forest is a breeze – the crew at NSCC has exactly what every great camping trip needs.
Leisure Hotels and Resorts were a part of the North Shore Camping Co. from the ground up. Design, construction and brand development were a team effort and labor of love led by Leisure Hotels and Resorts president Jamie Tatge and the Leisure and nearby Cove Point Lodge teams.
North Shore Camping Co. guests have access to over 190 acres of forest, the Superior Hiking Trail, the Split Rock Wilds Biking Trail, the Gitchi-Gami Bike Trail and all the amenties at sister resort Cove Point Lodge, on the edge of Lake Superior.
Cove Point Lodge is also managed by Leisure Hotels and Resorts.
These two properties make for amazing basecamps while guests explore the North Shore.
